Enjoy a cozy, comfortable stay at The Ozarker Lodge

(BRANSON, MISSOURI) — As a family of four, we’re always looking for fun, enjoyable places to stay that have plenty of things to do on-site.

If you’re familiar with Branson, Missouri, then you know there’s no shortage of family-friendly activities to do. The Branson Landing, The Boardwalk, and Silver Dollar City all might come to mind as fast-paced and fun things to do. But with any busy trip, you need a place to be able to relax and unwind. (You’ll find a discount code at the end of this article).

Introducing The Ozarker Lodge, a cozy and comfortable stay within driving distance to anything you can imagine in Branson. However, here you’ll be welcomed in with the great outdoors surrounding you, giving you a great sense of peace.

It’s a trendy lodge, with modern takes on the rustic cabin experience. But it’s a warm and welcome space for anyone, no matter your walk of life, to come and reset. It’s a special place for families because there are great things to do on the property, so let’s dive in!

First off, let’s talk about the pool. During the time we visited, it was a little cooler. Mid-60s with sunshine, with sporadic rain showers here or there. The pool was nice and heated, and the perfect temperature for us to get into. Not the kind of “oh, once you spend a minute in the water, you’ll be fine!” kind of temperature. The kind you can walk right into and enjoy. This is a great amenity to have.

Throwing it back to my Missouri roots, I loved to see the peaceful creek flowing past us from the back of the property. With the water flowing over the rocks, creating mini waterfalls, it’s the kind of place in summer you’ll want to bring the water shoes and have a picnic.

We were able to enjoy a bonfire with a charcuterie board, s’mores and a bottle of wine. The kids loved the s’mores, cheese and meats, and mom and dad enjoyed sipping on the wine.

You can reserve a space, which is just in front of the creek area. All the meats and cheeses are locally sourced, and it was delicious.

Staying outside for now, my next favorite part of The Ozarker Lodge were the creekside tubs. Imagine a hot tub overlooking the creek, with a starry sky up above you. That’s what you’ll get here.

The Storehouse inside presents a fun spot to hangout for just about anyone. For the kids, they’ll find games and action figures to play with. Adults will find a bar to order a coffee in the morning and/or afternoon, and a beer or cocktail at night. In that same area of the building is where you’ll enjoy breakfast the next morning, full of cereals, overnight oats, bananas, toast and pastries as well as coffee and juices to enjoy.

We stayed on the second floor, in the back side of the building overlooking the creek, tubs, bonfire pits and pool. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable, we enjoyed the beds, and the showers have body wash, shampoo and conditioner all ready for you.

I’d love to see The Ozarker Lodge in the prime of autumn. With the way the lodge is surrounded by trees, I know the views of the fall foliage would be absolutely gorgeous. It would also be a great place to stay around the holidays. Branson is well-known for being a world-class Christmas town, and The Ozarker Lodge would make a great home base for this.
